Since 2000, the SSF has sponsored programs that have benefited people around the world. We are proud to have partnered with many great organizations throughout the the years. Current programs we are supporting:

Victory In Progress Camp - The camp is for campers who have or have had pediatric cancer (or other life threatening blood disorders) and their siblings. Campers get to know their peers in a safe, healthy, recreational setting with pediatric hematology/oncology staff onsite. Siblings can participate in programs focused on living with a brother or sister with cancer. Other activities include crafts, nature study, photograph, swimming and more.

The Good Grocer (formerly Minneapolis Market) - The Good Grocer is a Neighborhood Food Club. Their vision is to infuse hope into the lives of those who are hungry with their innovative food club. The Good Grocer offers memberships to qualified individuals and families who don’t have enough food and are in need of assistance. Through memberships, members shop the grocery store for fresh and healthy foods. In turn, each member has a required amount of hours they must work in the store.

This innovative food club model provides members with food for their families, as well as, a sense of accomplishment in learning new skills and contributing to The Good Grocer.

Loaves & Fishes - Every month since 2006, the SSF has brought a group to Loaves & Fishes in Bloomington, MN. We have provided over 20,000 meals to individuals and families in need of a good meal - with no questions asked. In addition to the people served, this program has brought together over 400 different volunteers ranging in age from 4 to 70.

The SSF sets an annual goal of $20,000 to support these programs. In addition to the financial contributions, we firmly believe in the importance and dedication to service which embodies the spirit of Spenser. We hope that you will join us in our journey either financially or in service.
